This notice has been prepared to explain how HealthTurk (“HTurk”) processes the personal data you share through our website under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).
1. Data Controller

2. Personal Data Processed
- Identity and contact: full name, phone number, email address.
- Appointment request: your preferred date and time and the information you share in your message. Health information in your message is special-category personal data.
- Newsletter: your email address and the site language you used when subscribing.
- Transaction security: IP address, browser information and server log records.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases
- Responding to your appointment and contact requests and carrying out the health tourism coordination service (KVKK Art. 5/2-c, 5/2-f).
- Sending announcements and news by newsletter (explicit consent).
- Evaluating the health information you share in your message (explicit consent, KVKK Art. 6).
- Ensuring information security and fulfilling legal obligations (KVKK Art. 5/2-a, 5/2-ç).
4. Transfer of Data
Your personal data may be transferred only in line with your request and, where necessary, with your explicit consent to authorized healthcare institutions, to the hosting and email infrastructure providers we use, and to legally authorized public authorities. Our infrastructure providers’ servers may be located abroad; in that case the transfer is made in accordance with KVKK Art. 9.
5. Retention Period
Your data is kept for the period required by the purpose of processing and the periods prescribed by the relevant legislation; at the end of that period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized. A newsletter subscription ends if you withdraw your consent.
6. Your Rights
Under KVKK Art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information if it has been processed, learn whether it is used for its purpose, know the third parties to whom it is transferred, request correction if it is incomplete or incorrect, request deletion or destruction where the conditions are met, object, and claim compensation if you suffer damage.

7. Security
Your data is protected with reasonable technical and administrative measures, including an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and access controls. For your safety, we recommend that you do not write information such as ID numbers or detailed medical documents in forms, and share it only after contacting us directly. Documents you upload through the appointment form (PDF, JPG, PNG, WebP) are stored encrypted on the server and can be viewed only by our authorized team; they are deleted when no longer needed.
